A pocket-sized companion now lets us point a phone at the sky and read its cloud cover on the spot — a quick, handheld way to sanity-check what the fixed eyes see, and to gather sky from places the standing instruments don't reach.
The project has crossed from simulation into observation. Live inputs are now arriving from outside the lab, giving the system its first real sense of atmosphere, timing, and texture.
